Crowns are constructed to restore teeth that are heavily filled, discoloured, broken or crooked.

Crowns are a good way of improving your mouth; they are strong and extremely durable. Most crowns are made of dental porcelain either with or without an underlying metal structure, so that the colour can be matched up with the rest of your teeth ensuring that the finished result is natural. A crown is simply a strong porcelain cover that is fitted over the tooth. The tooth will need shaping and we can use our "Cerec" one-visit all porcelain crown where possible by taking quality optically scanned impressions.

Bridges are constructed to replace a missing tooth.

The benefit of a bridge is that it prevents you from having a denture, but only if the surrounding teeth are sound enough to support the bridge. Like the crowns, above the bridge is made out of dental porcelain so that it is tooth coloured and will be matched to your personal shade. The procedure for making a bridge is very similar to having a preparation for a crown. The finished product will be a tooth, which will be attached to the neighbouring tooth providing a natural look.
